  • The October 27, 2009 advertisement contains only the Slurry Seal and Surface Treatment projects for the Staunton District.  

    The Chief Engineer has decided to delay the advertisement of the Slurry Seal and Surface Treatment projects in the remaining Districts until November 10, 2009 with the receipt of bids due on December 23, 2009.

    The statewide Plant Mix projects will be advertised on December 8th with the receipt of bids due on January 27, 2010.

Today, VDOT issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit Design-Build Proposals from those entities interested in contracting to serve as the Design-Builder for the Approaches and Bridge over Tye River on Amherst/Nelson County Line, Virginia. VDOT has released an RFP for a Bridge Rehabilitation Design Build Project in the Bristol District.  This project is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  The RFP for this project can be downloaded at the following location.  http://www.virginiadot.org/business/request-for-proposals.asp
