Hydraulic Design Advisory

Hydraulic Design Advisories (HDA’s) are informational documents issued to address specific hydraulic or drainage design technical issues or concerns.  The issuance of the HDA’s is on an as needed basis and they will be posted at this site until such time the information contained there in has been incorporated into the VDOT Drainage Manual, the Location and Design II&Ms, the VDOT Road and Bridge Standards, or other such documents as appropriate.  All previously published HDA’s not listed below have been voided and are no longer in effect.
