The Virginia State Police enforces the regulations pertaining to the transportation of hazardous materials. Any questions regarding hazardous materials transportation can be forwarded to Lt. Patrick Sedillo.
VDOT only gets involved if hazardous materials are being transported through one of the six state-owned tunnels.
