Business Route 23 closure this weekend at Kent Junction Bridge
Closure necessary to perform final milling and paving of the approaches to the bridge

Wise County, Va. – Due to the final milling and paving of the approaches to the Business Route 23 – Kent Junction Bridge in Wise County, a section of the roadway will be closed from Friday (May 9) at 6 a.m. until the morning hours of Sunday (May 11).

The milling and paving work is in conjunction with the replacement of the Kent Junction Bridge.  Motorists are advised to use caution in this area and pay close attention to signs and message boards warning motorists of the closure.   (END)
