Route 637 bridge work postponed until Thursday (March 20)
Possibility of inclement weather reason for schedule change

TAZEWELL COUNTY, Va. – Due to the possibility of high winds in tomorrow’s forecast (Wednesday, March 19), the project to replace the bridge deck on Route 637 in Tazewell County has been postponed until Thursday (March 20). 

The bridge, located at the foot of The Jumps in Tazewell County, will be closed during daylight hours Thursday.  Motorists should pay close attention to signs and flaggers directing traffic around the area.
