Left Lane and Shoulder are Open to Traffic on I-95 South Near Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation has reopened the left lane and shoulder on Interstate 95 South near Fredericksburg in Caroline County.

The shoulder will be used as a travel lane. The right and center lane will remain closed throughout the remainder of the day.

Crews will repave the damaged stretch of roadway tonight.

Motorists should expect delays on I-95 South and Route 1.
