VDOT to host Supplier and Buyer Networking Fair

FREDERICKSBURG— The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will host a Supplier and Buyer Networking Fair on Tuesday, May 22 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The one day fair will held in VDOT’s Fredericksburg District Auditorium located at 86 Deacon Road in Stafford County.

The fair will provide current and/or potential suppliers with:
• Information on registering as a Small, Minority or Woman owned business.
• Assistance with registering with the Department of Minority Business Enterprise (DMBE) and
E-Virginia (eVA).
• Information on the “new” hired equipment requirements for the FY 07/08 snow season.
• An opportunity to meet and talk with VDOT Procurement Staff and representatives from the Department of Minority Enterprise.
