HOV Holiday Schedule Change

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Virginia Department of Transportation will alter the Interstate 64 HOV/Reversible Roadway schedule over the Labor Day weekend.

In order to ease delays anticipated by increased traffic volumes, hours and direction of traffic on the HOV/Reversible Roadway will temporarily change.

Schedule:

Friday, August 29, 2003

· 6:00 pm - HOV/RR open to all eastbound traffic

Monday, September 1, 2003

· 11:00 am - HOV/RR closed to all traffic

Monday, September 1, 2003

· 1:00 pm - HOV/RR open to all westbound traffic

Tuesday, September 2, 2003

· 6:00 am - Normal operations; HOV-2 restrictions westbound


NOTE: HOV restrictions on the Peninsula will remain unchanged throughout the holiday weekend.
