JAMESTOWN-SCOTLAND FERRY RESUMES NORMAL SERVICE

SURRY – The Jamestown-Scotland Ferry resumed normal operations at 8 a.m. today. The ferry operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The service was suspended at 9 a.m. Friday as a result of high waters from tropical depression Ernesto. The road leading to the ferry was also washed out by the storm.
