REPAIRS SCHEDULED ON I-64 HIGH RISE BRIDGE

CHESAPEAKE — Motorists who use the I-64 High Rise Bridge should expect delays eastbound Saturday, February 4 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. as Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews perform repair work. A single lane closure will be in place in each direction as work progresses.

Crews will perform the required concrete work on the bridge during daylight hours to optimize safety. A recent accident on the High-Rise damaged both the concrete Jersey wall and guardrail.
