CANDLERS MOUNTAIN ROAD MAINTENANCE PLANNED
Motorists will encounter lane closures and delays

LYNCHBURG – Motorists can expect lane closures and delays later this week when Burleigh Construction Co., Inc., under contract to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) is performs maintenance operations on the road surface of the bridge in the westbound lane of Route 128 (Candlers Mountain Road) over the railroad.

Currently, patching operations are scheduled between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 14 and, possibly, continuing during the day on Friday, February 15. The schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions and the availability of equipment.
