ROADS REMAIN CLOSED DUE TO FLOODING

A number of roads in the Lynchburg District of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) are closed due to heavy rains overnight.

As of 10:00 a.m., portions of the following roads are reported closed:

Buckingham County:
Route 636

Campbell County:
Route 637

Charlotte County:
Route 619

Halifax County:
Routes 610, 617, 647 & 778

Pittsylvania County:
Routes 603, 605, 618, 631, 671, 677, 679, 683, 685, 694, 695, 703, 713, 718, 792, 878, 880, 896, 938 and 951
