Media Briefing Monday, May 17
What/Why: A major milestone takes place on the afternoon of May 19 when VDOT opens the mile-long, 100-foot high bridge that will carry traffic from the inner loop of the beltway to I-95 south towards Richmond. In preparation for the bridge opening and several other traffic pattern changes in the interchange area, VDOT will hold a media briefing on May 17 at 11 a.m. This is your opportunity to get the details in advance of the ribbon-cutting ceremony and bridge opening scheduled for May 19.
