VDOT Names Jill Guice Human Resource Manager

The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) announced the appointment of a new Human Resource Manager to lead the agency’s human resource program in the Northern Virginia District.

Prior to joining VDOT, Jill Guice worked for Washington Metropolitan Airport Authority for 16 years in several leadership capacities in a variety of Human Resource roles. She managed staff in the development and administration of comprehensive benefit programs for active and retiree employees, worker's compensation and Human Resource Information Systems. She also served as a Team Leader providing recruitment and staffing services to various occupational areas within the Airport Authority.

As the Northern Virginia District’s human resources manager, Guice will oversee 17 employees who are responsible for the needs of over 1000 employees throughout Northern Virginia.

Guice graduated from the University of Maryland with a B. A. in Political Science and earned a Master of Arts in Administrative Science from The George Washington University. She lives in Manassas with her husband and two children.
