Emergency Repairs Shut Down Section of Stringfellow Road in Fairfax County

All lanes on Stringfellow Road between Point Pleasant Drive and Melville Lane are closed for emergency work. The two-lane, 1/4-mile section is closed while Fairfax County Water Authority repairs a ruptured water line and Plantation Pipeline repairs a gas line.

Motorists are being detoured around the work areas.
