ROAD CONDITION UPDATE

Richmond—The Virginia Department of Transportation urges all motorists to use caution when traveling around the Richmond area on Tuesday. VDOT crews have mobilized and are assessing road damage.

The following list is the best estimate of road closures as of 6 p.m. this afternoon. Additional changes to this list are expected. We will update lane closures the morning of Sept. 1.

High Profile

The following closures are listed:

• Route 5 at Bickerstaff Road in Fulton Bottom
• Powhite Parkway is now open in both directions. The ramp to Forest Hill remains closed.
• I-195 south one lane closed at Cary and Grove Exit
• I-95-The ramp to Franklin Street (Exit 74 B) is closed.
• Route 301 Hanover-The road is closed at the Kersey Creek Bridge due to a bridge washout. Through traffic is prohibited between I-295 and Route 54.
• I-295 Hanover-The ramp to Creighton Road is closed.
• I-195 Richmond-The road is closed southbound at Douglasdale Road.
• Route 60 at Bottoms Bridge
