VDOT TO CONDUCT PUBLIC HEARING ON WEST BROAD WIDENING
Project to widen West Broad from two to four lanes in Goochland
GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va.—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing next Wednesday, November 29, to receive citizen input on the proposed widening to Route 250 (West Broad Street). The hearing will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Centerville - Company 3, Goochland Fire-Rescue Station, 52 Broad Street in Manakin-Sabot.
The proposed project involves widening Route 250 from two lanes to four lanes divided from ¼ mile west of Route 621 (Manakin Road) to one-tenth mile east of Route 623 (Hockett Road).
VDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
Residents are encouraged to offer comments or submit written material concerning the proposed project by December 9, 2006. All questions and comments will be considered prior to design approval.
