TRAFFIC ALERT: SOUTHBOUND INTERSTATE 81 REDUCED TO ONE LANE TODAY IN MONTGOMERY COUNTY

This morning, traffic will be reduced to one lane on southbound Interstate 81 at mile marker 128 in ?>Montgomery County near the Ironto exit.  Traffic is expected to remain reduced to one lane on southbound I-81 until early afternoon. ?>

As part of the ongoing work on the bridges over the South Fork of the Roanoke River at mile marker 128, concrete poured last night did not set-up as quickly as expected.

A long term work zone has been established and the speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph in this area.  Motorists should use caution and expect delays in this area.
