ROAD CONDITIONS MUCH IMPROVED IN SHENANDOAH VALLEY

STAUNTON – Road conditions have greatly improved this morning in the Shenandoah Valley

 

Here are the Staunton District road conditions as of 11:15 a.m.

 

Interstate 64 – Clear conditions are in Alleghany, Rockbridge and Augusta counties.

 

Interstate 66 – Clear conditions are reported in Warren County.

 

Interstate 81 –Minor conditions are in Rockingham County.  Clear conditions are in Rockbridge, Augusta, Shenandoah and Frederick counties. 

 

Primary roads are in minor conditions in Augusta, Highland, Rockingham, Clarke and Page counties.  Clear conditions are in Bath, Alleghany, Rockbridge, Shenandoah, Frederick and Warren counties.

 

Secondary roads are in moderate condition in Alleghany, Rockbridge, Bath, Rockingham, Shenandoah, Frederick, Clarke and Page counties.  Minor conditions are in Augusta, Highland and Warren counties.

 

The VDOT Staunton District serves Frederick, Shenandoah, Clarke, Warren, Page, Rockingham, Augusta, Highland, Rockbridge, Alleghany and Bath counties
