ROUTE 211 AND ROUTE 11 INTERSECTION CLOSURE IN NEW MARKET
Closure will begin during evening of May 4


STAUNTON –  In New Market the intersection of Route 211 east and Route 11 will be closed for ditch and road work on May 4. The closure will last from 7 p.m. May 4 until late afternoon or early evening on May 5.

The detour is as follows:
Route 211 westbound traffic from Luray:
From Route 211, take Route 1002 (East Old Cross Road) to Route 11. Passenger vehicles can turn north or south onto Route 11, or proceed straight to Route 211 west at this location. Trucks should proceed straight on to Route 211 west to Interstate 81. To access Route 11 north or south proceed on I-81 to the next interchange.

Route 211 eastbound traffic:
From Route 11 take Route 1002 east (East Old Cross Road) to Route 211 eastbound.

Route 11 traffic to Route 211 east:
Be alert for flaggers directing traffic from Route 11 to Route 211 eastbound.
