Public hearing scheduled for Route 627 (Copper Creek Road) bridge replacement project in Scott County

BRISTOL - The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a public hearing this month to show plans for the proposed replacement of the Route 627 (Copper Creek Road) bridge in Scott County.  

The public hearing will be held Tuesday, May 24 from 4 - 6 p.m. at LENOWISCO Planning District Office, 372 Technology Trail Lane, Duffield, Virginia 24244. 

The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens an opportunity to review and discuss design plans for the replacement of the Route 627 (Copper Creek Road) bridge over Copper Creek.   

To give the public flexibility in their participation, there will be no formal presentation. Instead, citizens will be able to review revised plans with VDOT representatives at their convenience anytime between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Maps and other materials pertaining to the project are available for review at the VDOT Bristol District Office, 870 Bonham Road, Bristol, Virginia.  For additional information, or if you require special assistance to participate in the meeting, please call the VDOT District Office at (276) 669-6151 or device for hearing impaired (TTY) at 711.
