Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.; crews will be removing trees at various locations along the shoulder on Rt. 713.  Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

Spotsylvania County

§          Interstate 95

Sunday - Thursday, 9 p.m. - 4:30 a.m.; crews will be milling and paving the center lane on I-95 south between Exit 126 (Rt. 1/Spotsylvania) and Exit 118 (Rt. 606/Thornburg).  One lane and the shoulder will be closed to traffic in the work zone. Expect delays.

Tuesday - Thursday, 9 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.; crews will be milling and paving the center lane and left lane on I-95 south between Exit 126 (Rt. 1/Spotsylvania) and Exit 118 (Rt. 606/Thornburg).  Two lanes will be closed to traffic in the work zone.  Expect delays.

Wednesday, 9 p.m. – 4:30 a.m.; crews will be milling and paving the center lane and right lane on I-95 south between Exit 126 (Rt. 1/Spotsylvania) and Exit 118 (Rt. 606/Thornburg).  Two lanes will be closed to traffic in the work zone.  Expect delays

·          Route 608 bridge over I-95 – Ongoing Construction Project

Monday – Friday, motorists may experience periodic lane closures on Massaponax Church Road at the new bridge over I-95 as crews work to complete the punch list items on the project.

·          Route 639 (Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue -Ongoing Construction Project

Sunday - Tuesday, 10 p.m. – 5 a.m.; crews will install mast arms for the traffic signals at Rt. 3 and Bragg Road, Bragg Road and Willis Road and Bragg Road and River Road.  Motorists should remain alert and should be prepared to stop periodically in the work zone.

Monday – Friday; motorists are reminded to be alert to construction crews and equipment working along the shoulder along Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue as work continues on the Bragg Road/Fall Hill Avenue widening project. The estimated completion date for this project is summer 2011.

·          Route 612

Monday – Friday, 7a.m. – 5 p.m. crews will be removing trees at various locations along the shoulder on Rt. 612 and Rt. 1151.  Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone.

·          Route 657

Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m.; crews will be trimming trees at various locations along Rt.657 and Rt. 614.  Motorists will be restricted to one lane in the work zone. 

·          Spotsylvania Towne Centre Entrance

Motorists are reminded to be alert to changes in the traffic pattern on Route 3 eastbound between Bragg Road and the entrance to the Spotsylvania Towne Centre.  The continuous right turn lane on Rt. 3 east between Bragg Road and the towne centre entrance may be periodically closed to through traffic as well as the right merge lane exiting the towne centre to Rt. 3 east.  To avoid delays Towne Centre patrons should use the entrance located on Bragg Road Extended.  Access to businesses located on Rt. 3 east between Bragg Road and the towne centre will be maintained at all times.
