FREDERICKSBURG – On Monday, May 15, construction will begin on a portion of

In addition, crews will improve the drainage structures in the project area.

Upon completion, the project will create a new road alignment with curves designed to accommodate a 35 mph speed limit.

Motorists can expect one-way traffic, controlled by flaggers in the work zone, Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

The project is expected to be complete by fall 2017.
