FREDERICKSBURG DISTRICT ROADS ARE CLEAR BUT WET PAVEMENT AND FREEZING TEMPERATURES COULD MEAN ICY CONDITIONS TONIGHT
Crews to continue monitoring road conditions throughout the district, treating as needed

FREDERICKSBURG- Interstate, primary and secondary routes throughout the 14-county Fredericksburg District are reported as clear from snow and ice, however, the pavement remains wet. Temperatures are expected to drop below freezing overnight and wet pavement may freeze creating icy conditions.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution if planning to travel overnight and early tomorrow morning

VDOT crews will continue to closely monitor road conditions overnight and tomorrow, treating roads as needed.

Drivers are reminded that bridges, overpasses and untreated surfaces typically freeze first. Use caution when traveling in these areas.
