ROUTE 301 CLOSED IN KING GEORGE COUNTY
All Route 301 northbound and southbound lanes closed due to crash involving downed power lines near Route 625 (Salem Church Road); Detour in place

FREDERICKSBURG – All lanes of Route 301 northbound and southbound are closed in King George County near the intersection of Route 625 (Salem Church Road) due to a vehicle crash involving downed power lines.

A detour is in place. Route 301 northbound traffic is being directed onto Route 607 (Port Conway Road). Route 301 southbound traffic is being diverted to Route 3.

Virginia Department of Transportation crews are traveling to the scene to assist law enforcement officials with traffic control.
