ROUTE 3 LANE CLOSURES APRIL 24-26 AT NORRIS BRIDGE
Drivers can expect overnight lane closures next week on Route 3 between Lancaster and Middlesex counties

UPDATE: Overnight lane closures have been cancelled for the evenings of Monday, April 24 and Tuesday, April 25 due to heavy rain. Lane closures will be in place overnight on the evenings of Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27. A single lane will be closed on the bridge from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. both evenings.

FREDERICKSBURG – Motorists can anticipate brief overnight delays on Route 3 at the Robert O. Norris Bridge over the Rappahannock River between Lancaster and Middlesex counties on Monday, April 24 through Wednesday, April 26.

Maintenance work will be underway nightly Monday through Wednesday evenings to make concrete repairs to the bridge deck travel surface.

Weather permitting, motorists can expect lane closures at the following times:

Monday, April 24 − Wednesday, April 26

  • Single lane closure 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for bridge deck travel surface repairs
