ROUTE 3 WESTBOUND CLOSED IN SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY
Detour is in place starting at Five Mile Road Extended due to vehicle crash; Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible and seek alternate routes

FREDERICKSBURG – Route 3 westbound is closed at Five Mile Road Extended in Spotsylvania County due to a vehicle crash in the vicinity of Cherry Road.

A detour is in place at the scene. Motorists should follow direction from law enforcement officials and Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews providing traffic control.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible and seek alternate routes.

All lanes of Route 3 eastbound remain open.
