BRIDGE INSPECTION ON I-95 IN CAROLINE COUNTY THIS WEEKEND
Watch for single lane closures on Interstate 95 northbound and southbound on

FREDERICKSBURG – A bridge inspection will close a single lane of Interstate 95 northbound and southbound during daytime hours this weekend in Caroline County near Exit 104 at Carmel Church.

Crews are inspecting the I-95 northbound and southbound overpasses that span CSX railroad tracks just south of the Carmel Church interchange. VDOT has scheduled the inspection for a weekend at CSX’s request due to the availability of railroad flagging crews.

Motorists can expect brief delays on I-95 between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the following dates and locations:

Saturday, March 3

Interstate 95 southbound, mile marker 105 to 103

Single lane closure

Sunday, March 4

Interstate 95 northbound, mile marker 101 to 103

Single lane closure
