RAMP CLOSURE AT ROUTE 17 NORTHBOUND TO I-95 SOUTHBOUND FOR EMERGENCY SIGN REPAIR
Entrance ramp to Interstate 95 southbound from Route 17 northbound in Stafford County will be closed for approximately 30 minutes to repair a loose overhead sign panel

FREDERICKSBURG – The entrance ramp to Interstate 95 southbound at Exit 133/Falmouth from Route 17 northbound in Stafford County will be closed for up to 30 minutes starting at 7 p.m. this evening for an emergency sign repair.

A loose panel on an overhead sign will be repaired or removed for motorist safety.

All lanes of Interstate 95 southbound will remain open during the removal.

Route 17 northbound traffic will be detoured to the intersection of Route 17 and the Virginia Department of Transportation Park & Ride lot, where motorists can make a U-turn to proceed south on Route 17 and access the I-95 southbound entrance ramp.

Virginia State Police will assist with traffic control at the work zone.

The entrance ramp is anticipated to re-open to traffic around 7:30 p.m.
