ERC Mobilizes for this Saturday Expected Snowfall

Portsmouth, VA – Elizabeth River Crossings (ERC) is prepared for the forecasted snowfall this Saturday and is mobilizing additional staff and equipment to help keep the Downtown and Midtown Tunnels and associated roadways safe for motorists.
Operations and maintenance staff, safety service patrols and supplemental staffing from contractor resources will be fully staged and on standby by 1:00 pm Saturday afternoon and will remain staffed throughout the night. Our contractor will also provide extra de-icing equipment and de-icing materials.
