LYNCHBURG —Motorists will encounter traffic pattern changes on Leesville Road in the coming months as part of the Greenview Drive highway improvement project in Campbell County and the City of Lynchburg.

It is anticipated that the northern leg of Leesville Road from the Greenview Drive intersection to approximately Mt. Sterling Drive will be closed late-Sept thru mid-Oct. for the reconstruction of pavement in and near the intersection. Approximately two weeks later, the southern leg of Leesville Road will be closed from the same intersection to approximately Greystone Drive for the completion of this work.

This schedule is subject to change and updates will be made as more information is received. Efforts will be made to minimize impacts to the community.

Signs and other traffic control devices will alert motorists to these closures and new traffic patterns.
