LANE CLOSURES AND TRAFFIC STOPPAGES WILL OCCUR ON US 460 NEAR LIBERTY UNIVERSITY

LYNCHBURG – Motorists will encounter nightly lane closures and traffic stoppages on US 460, approximately .5 mile east of Wards Road between March 14 and 17 while bridge work takes place.

English Construction Company, Inc. will install girders for the Liberty University South Campus Bridge, as well as remove an existing overhead sign and erect a new one.

There will be alternately lane closures and traffic stoppages of up to 15 minutes duration from 7 pm to 6 am each day until the work is complete.  In case of bad weather, the work will take place the following week, as necessary.

Message boards will alert motorists to this change in traffic pattern.
