Red Oak School Road bridge, Campbell County Closed
Bridge damaged during weekend incident

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Motorists who use Red Oak School Road (Route 604) in Campbell County may need to seek alternate routes due to bridge damage from over the weekend.

The bridge on Route 604 between Bear Creek Road (Route 651) and Nowlins Mill Road (Route 648) was struck by a vehicle early Saturday morning and the railing on one side of the structure were severely damaged. The bridge will be closed until repairs are made.
