US 460/29 ACCESS MANAGEMENT PROJECT NEARING COMPLETION
LYNCHBURG, Va. — Phase Two of the U.S. 460/29 Access Management project in Lynchburg is nearing completion.
The 55 mph speed limit between Concord Turnpike and U.S. 501 has been restored and the reduced speed limit signs removed. A 45 mph speed limit remains in effect from U.S. 501 to near Candler’s Mountain Road, through the Odd Fellows Road interchange and connector project.
Message boards and other traffic control devices will alert motorists to those changes and delays should be expected.
