ROUTE 58 EAST BRIDGE OVER SANDY CREEK REPAIRED
Work will require traffic control

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Motorists who travel Route 58 East in Pittsylvania County should expect to encounter work on the bridge over Sandy Creek near the Halifax County line starting next week.

A truck hit the structure recently and repairs are necessary. Those repairs will require the installation of a barrier that will reduce the eastbound to one 11’ lane.  This installation will take place early in the week. The repairs will last for approximately four weeks.

Signs and other traffic control devices will alert motorists to this change in traffic pattern.
