VDOT’S LYNCHBURG DISTICT: ROAD CONDITIONS IMPROVE
Be alert to possible refreeze overnight

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Road conditions are beginning to improve as temperatures have risen and precipitation has turned to all rain.

Motorists should continue to monitor weather conditions through local media or on NOAA.gov and road conditions using VDOT’s free 511 tools as temperatures could drop to below freezing overnight and any moisture refreeze. Local updates will be posted to VDOT’s Lynchburg District Twitter account.

The Lynchburg Districts includes the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Buckingham, Campbell, Charlotte, Cumberland, Halifax, Pittsylvania and Prince Edward.
