FAIRFAX─The first week of November, the Virginia Department of Transportation will start work on a $17.3 million project to improve safety and traffic flow by replacing the structurally deficient Lee Highway (Route 29) bridge over Little Rocky Run with a six-lane bridge.

Traffic Impacts

During construction, drivers can expect some off-peak lane closures and traffic shifts from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday to Thursday; 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday; and overnight on weekends as crews replace the bridge. All work is weather permitting.
