VDOT INFO MEETING ON ROUTE 7 CORRIDOR IMPROVEMENTS
June 24 at Forestville Elementary School
FAIRFAX—The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold an information meeting June 24 on plans to widen Leesburg Pike (Route 7) from four to six lanes between Reston Avenue and Jarrett Valley Drive. The 6.9-mile project will increase capacity, decrease congestion, and improve safety and mobility throughout the corridor.
The public can stop by between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at Forestville Elementary School, 1085 Utterback Store Road, Great Falls, VA 22066.
The meeting will be an open-house format with VDOT staff on hand to discuss project information and answer questions.
Written comments may be given at the meeting. They may also be mailed to Bethany Mathis, Program Manager at the Virginia Department of Transportation, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030 or emailed to email@example.com through July 8, 2014.
