Belmont Ridge Road Bridge Work at Washington & Old Dominion Trail March 23-24
Trail closures up to 30 minutes


ASHBURN – Steel beams will be installed on the future Belmont Ridge Road (Route 659) bridge over the Washington & Old Dominion Trail Thursday, March 23 and Friday, March 24 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation.

There will not be any impacts to traffic on Belmont Ridge Road, but there will be intermittent full closures of up to 30 minutes each for pedestrians and bicyclists on the Washington & Old Dominion Trail. 

All work is weather permitting.

The work is part of the Belmont Ridge Road widening project, which is scheduled for completion in late 2018.
