Overnight Closures on Westbound I-66 Inside the Beltway, Thursday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 21
Full closures up to 20 minutes each for tolling construction

ARLINGTON - Westbound Interstate 66 inside the Beltway will be closed for 20-minute intervals overnight on Thursday, March 16 and Tuesday, March 21 for tolling construction. Starting at 9:30 p.m., the right lane of the highway will be closed to mobilize equipment. The 20-minute closures will occur between midnight and 4 a.m. The right lane will reopen by 5 a.m.

To ensure the public's safety, Virginia State Police will stop and hold westbound traffic ahead of the construction activity. Traffic will be released after the 20-minute operations are completed.

Details:

• Beginning at 9:30 p.m., Thursday, March 16 until 5 a.m., Friday, March 17: Closures will occur near mile marker 72, between Lee Hwy. and Glebe Rd.
• Beginning at 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 21 until 5 a.m., Wednesday, March 22: Closures will occur near mile marker 66, between Route 7 and I-495.
