Public Information Meeting for Route 15 Bypass Interchange at Edwards Ferry Road and Fort Evans Road
Join VDOT March 2 to learn about project and provide input

LEESBURG – The Virginia Department of Transportation is holding a public information meeting Thursday, March 2 on plans to construct an interchange and make other improvements at the Route 15 Bypass intersections of Edwards Ferry Road and Fort Evans Road to relieve congestion, increase capacity and improve safety.

Planned improvements include:

  • Construction of a grade-separated interchange at the Route 15 Bypass and Edwards Ferry Road (rendering shown above)
  • Improved facilities for bicyclists and pedestrians
  • Improvements at Fort Evans Road to address congestion and safety

The public is invited to stop by between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium of Leesburg Elementary School, 323 Plaza Street NE, Leesburg, VA 20176 to view displays and learn more about the project. VDOT staff will be available to answer questions.
