Route 123 at I-495 Bicycle/Pedestrian Improvements Meeting May 17
Learn about project and give VDOT feedback on two design options


TYSONS – The Virginia Department of Transportation is holding a public information meeting Wednesday, May 17 on plans to build a bicycle and pedestrian facility in the vicinity of Route 123 and
I-495 in the Tysons area. This project aims to increase safety and connectivity for all users.

 

Two design options are being considered, as shown on right.  

          

The public is invited to stop by between 7 and 9 p.m. at Westgate Elementary School, Falls Church, VA 22043 to learn more about the project, review proposed plans and provide input. VDOT staff will be available to answer questions.

 

A presentation will begin at 7:30 p.m.

 

Comments may be provided at the meeting or sent to VDOT by May 31, 2017. Email or mail comments to Mr. Abraham Lerner, P.E., Virginia Department of Transportation, 4975 Alliance Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.
