VDOT TO HOLD CITIZEN INFORMATION MEETING ON CEDAR LEVEL ROAD PROJECT IN HOPEWELL
The meeting will address proposed improvements for Cedar Level Road
COLONIAL HEIGHTS —The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a citizen information meeting on an improvements project proposed for Cedar Level Road in Hopewell.
The meeting will be held Wednesday, April 22 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Hopewell High School, located at 400 S. Mesa Drive, Hopewell, VA 23060.
Plans include widening Cedar Level Road from Cobblestone Parkway to Mile Avenue increase safety and improve traffic flow in the area. Pedestrian and cyclist accommodations are also proposed. The meeting will also provide an opportunity for individuals, businesses or organizations to give VDOT input on the project.
Comments about the proposed project may be submitted at the meeting or until May 4 by mailing them to Scott Chapman, Project Manager, Virginia Department of Transportation, 2430 Pine Forest Drive, Colonial Heights, VA 23834-9002.
