TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 11 SOUTHBOUND RE-OPENS TONIGHT AT I-81’S EXIT 150 PROJECT IN BOTETOURT COUNTY
Detour onto Gateway Crossing will no longer be in place

SALEM — As part of the project at Exit 150’s safety improvement project off of I-81 in Botetourt County, Southbound Route 11 between the roundabout and the intersection of Route 11/220/220 Alternate will open to traffic tonight, December 11. Traffic will be switched to the new configuration at the roundabout and the detour onto Gateway Crossing will no longer be in place.

Work will continue at the exit for 150A off of I-81 with shoulder closures remaining in place and flagging operations as needed. This portion of the project is expected to be complete this winter with completion of the project itself in summer 2018.
