TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 625 IN GILES COUNTY SCHEDULED TO CLOSE FOR RAILROAD REPAIRS

SALEM – On Thursday, July 27, Route 625 (Goodwins Ferry Road) in Giles County between the McCoy and Eggleston areas will be closed to through traffic at a railroad crossing located about one-half mile north of the Montgomery County line.

Motorists who usually travel on Route 625 between its intersections with Route 708 (Norris Run Road) in Montgomery County and Route 605 (Spruce Run Road) in Giles County should plan accordingly to use alternate routes.  Railroad repairs are planned from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Signs will be in place to alert drivers to the closure.
