TRAFFIC ALERT: ROUTE 726 CLOSED FOR EMERGENCY PIPE REPLACEMENT IN FLOYD COUNTY

SALEM - Beginning immediately, Route 726 (Black Ridge Road) is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of Route 805 (Emmanuel Road) due to an emergency pipe repair.

Repairs will begin on Thursday, July 6 through Friday, July 7. The road will then re-open for the weekend to assist traffic traveling to a festival being held.

On Monday, July 10, the road will close again and remain closed throughout the week for repairs to continue.

During repairs, through traffic is being detoured to use Route 804 (Rush Fork Road) to Route 727 (Union School Road) to Route 799 (Conner Road) to Route 805 (Emmanuel Road) to return to Route 726 (Black Ridge Road). 

Weather permitting, the road is expected to re-open by Friday, July 14.
