STAUNTON – In Warren County, Route 624 (Morgan Ford Road) will be closed at the low water bridge over the Shenandoah River for soil work at bridge. The road closure begins on Friday, November 16 at 9:00 a.m. with an estimated completion time of Sunday, November 18 at 4:00 a.m., weather permitting.

The work zone location is from 0.2 mile north of Route 643 to 1.5 mile south of Route 661.

The detour is:  
• South End:  Route 624 (Happy Creek Road) to East 6th street in the Town of Front Royal to Route 522 north to Route 522/340 north to Route 661.
• North End:  Route 624 to Route 661 to Route 522/340 south to Route 522 south (Bypass in Front Royal) to East Sixth Street in the Town of Front Royal to Route 624 (Happy Creek Road).
