INTERSTATE 81 SLOW ROLL CLOSURE SEPTEMBER 8 IN FREDERICK COUNTY
Installation of Overhead Utility Cables
STAUNTON – Motorists should be alert for northbound and southbound “slow‐roll” lane closures on Sunday, September 8 along Interstate 81 in Frederick County.
The southbound slow‐roll will begin at mile marker 311.5. The northbound slow‐roll will begin at 307. The brief closures are needed for installation of utility cables over the interstate at mile marker 309.3.
Both closures will be completed between 7:30 a.m. and 7:45 a.m. All work is weather permitting, and slow‐roll times are subject to change.
