I-81 LANE CLOSURES DECEMBER 19 TO JANUARY 5 FOR BRIDGE REPAIRS IN HARRISONBURG

STAUNTON – Motorists can expect overnight single-lane closures on Interstate 81 in Harrisonburg tonight (Tuesday, December 19) through January 5, 2018. These lane closures will allow repairs to bridge railings recently damaged in a tractor-trailer crash near mile marker 244.

Left-lane closures are scheduled from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday nights this week on southbound I-81. Contractors plan to continue working during the last week of December and the first week of January on northbound and southbound I-81, and alternating lane closures are expected.
