LANE CLOSURES NEXT WEEK ON ROUTES 251 AND 646 IN ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY

STAUNTON – The Virginia Department of Transportation has scheduled single-lane closures March 14-15, 2017, on Route 251 and Route 646 in Rockbridge County. These are daytime lane closures for pipe replacements. Flagging crews will direct traffic in both locations from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

On Tuesday, March 14, Route 646 (Big Hill Road) will be restricted to a single lane about 0.5-mile south of Route 850 (West Midland Trail). 

On Wednesday, March 15, Route 251 (Collierstown Road) will be restricted to a single lane about 0.3-mile west of Route 674 (Sack Road). Motorists should expect delays in this area. 

All work is weather permitting.
